GTA V WORLD IMPROVEMENT MOD

The GTA V mods are very commonly used by the gamers. Either they influence one particular part of gameplay, add a particular fresh function, or modify the game's specified characteristics. Even complete mods such as World Improvement maps have a definite path. Occasionally, however, a mod works out to impact multi-level GTA 5, tweaking this, that and what not to get a stronger general experience.

GTA V isn't the kind of game you get bored because you don't have to do stuff. There's a huge range of side missions, collectibles, vanilla random occurrences, and difficulties to finish even after you've completed the story mode of the game. Even if you've completed a hundred percent, there's plenty of metagames to discover for you. Easter eggs and the mystery of Mt. Chiliad give lots of unexplored material. Nevertheless, due to the massive mod community that has developed around GTA 5 cannot assist but continue to expand it. At this stage, the mods have become so diverse that you can exponentially boost the game's graphics and gameplay.

Modified Areas On World Improvement Map:

This World improvement map is the start of autofan999's New Rockford Hills Look mod. It requires the same idea and incorporates vegetation to render the town more realistic and offer it a closer view of different roads and places in Los Santos. Some areas have been altered:

  • Rockford Hills
  • Franklin House
  • Los Santos Customs
  • Mirror Park
  • Micheals House

The surroundings of the above-mentioned places have been modified by using World improvement mod, for example,  more props have been inserted around Franklins House (Trees, Plants, Lights), Oldtimer Public Meeting (Cars, People, Food) , LSC has introduced Props in and out and added new plants in a road next to Michaels House. All the bugs that were halting the gameplay was immensely improved in the new version of the world improvement mod. The places were populated with peds and different objects so the addition won’t seem unnatural and you can see smooth transition.

How to install:

  • To complete the world improvement map, you must first download and install the recent edition of the Guadmaz Map Editor version 0.7. You should use the latest GTA V version. After Fulfilling these conditions install the ScriptHook version 3 which is now the latest version of this script.
  • For Visual Studio 2015 x64, x86, download Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2013 x64, x86 package. Then Install the ScriptHookV, DotNet 5 latest version and download NativeUI version 6 from the authentic website. To customize the maps, use Guadmaz's Map Editor Mod.
  • After downloading all the files of the mod make a folder named as AutoLoadMaps in the directory of installed GTA V scripts. After creating a folder in the scripts/folder of the GTA V directory put the archived file in the folder. Thus, when you start the game, the map will load automatically.

Developers and creators always stay busy in doing all kind of tweaks in all GTA games. All the way from GTA Vice City and GTA San Andreas to currently hot running GTA V. They get hooked up in developing all kinds of mods to make the game more interesting and fun to play. Talking about the mod, Map editor, there are different debates and opinions. People say that mod does not allow you to change the layout
of the map, so it cannot be a map editor. But who are we to argue about the name as the developers named this mod as Map Editor.

Map editor allows the gamers to spawn different object into the game out of thin air like vehicles, move the objects faster than the normal, rotate the object in any direction and many more like these.

  • Players have the liberty to place objects in the map and build their custom space around any area. For example, for the stunt enthusiasts, GTA V map editor allows the gamers to build ramps anywhere they want. They can position them accordingly and enjoy the bike riding with some stunts.

  • Autosave feature was introduced in the mod after the successful run of the mod. Many players faced the difficulty of saving the mod. They sometimes forget to save the changes and all the hard work they put in creating their own happy place is gone. To tackle the issue, developers added the autosave feature. Default time set is 5 minutes which means the changes in the map are saved after every 5 seconds. You can change the interval timings if you want.
  • Map editor also facilitates the gamers by introducing the options like instruction buttons, camera sensitivity, free-look option and many more.

Map editor mod in GTA V allows the gamers to populate the redundant areas and enjoy each second of their stay in GTA V world.

Controls
F7 or R3 + LB - Open main menu.
WASD or Left Stick - Fly around while inside map editor, or when having an object selected, move/rotate the object.
Q/E or LB/RB - While having an object selected, move up/down the object, or rotate it.
F or Controller Y - Open the object spawning menu.
P or Controller Pause - Open the ped spawning menu.
V or Controller Back - Open the vehicle spawning menu.
Arrow Up or DPAD Up - Spawn a marker.
Shift or Controller A - Fly/Move/Rotate objects faster.
Alt or DPAD Down - Fly/Move/Rotate objects slower.
Control or L3 - While having an object selected, switch from moving to rotating. The arrow above the object will switch colors. Yellow for moving and red for rotating.
Mouse Left Click or RT - Select an object while looking at it.
Mouse Right Click or LT - Move an object with the mouse while looking at it.
Mouse Wheel or RB/LB - Rotate an object while having it snapped to your cursor.
C or R3 - Copy an object while looking at it or having it selected.
Del or Controller X - Delete an object while looking at it.

Saving and Loading Maps
You can load and save your maps as XML files or as object.ini files. When selecting load or save from the main menu, you will be prompted to enter a filename. Note that when loading maps, they stack, so use New Map to clean any objects.
You can automatically load maps by creating a directory in the scripts folder named "AutoloadMaps". Any file ending with the .xml or .ini extension will be loaded on gamestart. These maps will save with you when you save your current map, so before creating a map, use New Map

Map Info Tool V1.14 - gtaV tool

- This is a little tool/ script I made which allows you to get some useful info about static entities (buildings/ props) placed around the map. For any building/ prop that is defined as a static placement, it will show you the model name as well as the name of the base .ymap file where it is defined. Simply move the camera around, and information will be shown over objects as they come in view. You can view even more information about an object by using the built in console interface with the commands listed below.
- My hope is that this will ease the process of working with in-game objects via OpenIV, especially for people working hard on map- related mods. Because afaik there is no standard process for finding this kind of information about objects around the world.
- There are some options that can be customized in the .ini file including the search radius for objects/ buildings and max amount of objects infos that will be drawn on the screen. These settings could be useful if you are experience performance problems. Naturally there is some hit to performance, due to the sheer amount of objects that exist in the world.

Other info
The type of an object can be determined by the color of the label. For buildings/ static objects, it will be red. For props it is gold. This can be changed in the config file.

How To Install 

Requires the PC version of GTAV installed, and .NET framework 4.5.2.

Extract the zip file and run the .exe. Once the GTAV installation folder has been found, the world view will load by default. Use the WASD keys to move, and left-drag to rotate the camera view. Mouse wheel zooms in/out and controls the movement speed.

Extended Sandy PD V1.1 - gtaV map

Hi!
I have decided to release my Extended Sandy PD V1.1. The map has been made in 3ds Max and codewalker, so it's not just an Ymap like all the other Map Editor "interiors". Feel free to edit this mod at any time, but please do not take the credit for the model itself!

The Extended Sandy PD V1.1 has been given a huge upgrade. There has been added five new rooms. A room with two cells for the criminals, a locker room, an office for the workers, an office for the police captain, and a small breifing room. The overall PD has been cleaned up for useless objects and props. Also, the PD has gone a whole new modern style. Hope you guys like it!

A lot of you have been asking me about the hashes for some of the inside props. Hashes is for the FiveM version, and you can use them to lock the doors, sit on the chairs, and so on... Down below you will find the most important hashes for this mod.

Theres two different versions of the PD Sandy here. One for FiveM, and one for singe player.
For FiveM simply just drag and drop the folder called "pd_sandy" into your ressource folder.
Then start the mod in your server.cfg.

Forests of Chiliad V2.3 - gtaV map

Hello!

This is mod will give you a new version of the Forests of Chiliad. This map adds trees,misc,car generators and scenarios.
Forests of Chiliad covers the area around mount Chiliad only while Forests of San Andreas covers most of the north part of GTAV map.

-LODs support.

This is a YMAP map,it adds in total 3234 entities,adds car generators and scenarios,does not require MapEditor nor Menyoo to load,
it will load automatically just like any other prop in the game without any loading time or limits thanks to Sollaholla's YMAP converter and dexyfex for CodeWalker.

This brings dense Cedar and Redwood trees(This tree is actually a cut model that Rockstar did not use in the final version of the game)to the northern side of V,the trees cover the entire area around Mount Chiliad
and Paleto forest.
It uses"Forests Of V-The Creek" which I have done some major changes to(changes below),as for the rest of the locations they have been done from scratch.

This Forests of San Andreas V1.8 adds thousands of trees,adds misc,car generators and scenarios.
Forests of San Andreas combines both Forests of Chiliad,Forests of Senora and complete new areas,covering most of the north part of GTAV map.

"Big thanks to Alex106 for doing the LOD drawables,arranging the rpf file and teaching me how to set the ymaps and link the LODs and another big thanks to Slash_Alex for helping me finish sequencing the numbers for the LODs.

The trees now fully support LODs,enjoy the performance boost!

Forests Of V-The Creek by WantedBounty,reworked this map with the following:
All trees have been lifted,added more trees,relocated trees that were spawned on rocks,relocated trees that were causing scenario planes to crash and explode,
added rotation and bending for random trees.
