The mod was made by ADudeCalledLeo. The name of it explains everything. You can craft your own chainmail rather than getting it from other resources. To craft it, you must prepare 4 Iron nuggets in a 2×2 square. Then, you utilize the Chainmail Plates for making chain armor like always.

How to install Leo’s Craftable Chainmail Mod

• You have already installed Minecraft Forge.
• Locate the Minecraft application folder.
• On windows open Run from the start menu > type %appdata% > click Run.
• On mac open finder, hold down ALT > click Go then Library in the top menu bar.
• Open the folder Application Support > look for Minecraft.
• Place the mod you have just Leo’s Craftable Chainmail Mod downloaded (.jar file) into the Mods folder.
• When you launch Minecraft and click the mods button you should now see the Leo’s Craftable Chainmail Mod is installed.
