GTA 5 Cheats for Xbox One

Cheating is not always the best route to playing a video game. After all, some people argue that you miss out on a lot of stuff if you do. But some games, like Grand Theft Auto V, encourage cheating – Rockstar has even built some cheats into the game itself.

Running from things that help you out during the game to stuff that really changes the game in some pretty marked ways, GTA’s cheats are almost a requirement for any game in the series and most tend to follow a few guidelines. But GTA 5 cheats for Xbox One have one huge difference that sets them apart from the previous games and that is no cheat code for money whatsoever. You’ve got cheats for everything else, but nothing for money.

Also, to input your cheats you need to either call a number on your smartphone or use a controller to input the code. Either way you choose, the cheat should activate automatically. In this article, we’ll talk about some of our favorite GTA 5 cheats for Xbox One. 

How to enter cheat code for GTA 5 on XBOX ONE

Way 1: entering cheats using gamepad right in the game

If you don’t want to enter cheats via your in-game phone, you can enter them right in the game, using your gamepad. All you need is to press the buttons in proper order. However, don’t think that it’ll be easy to remember all the combinations!

Way 2: entering cheat codes via in-game phone

Just like in GTA 4, player can enter cheat codes via in-game phone. To do so, first, take your phone (↑ button). Then go to “Contacts” and click X button. Everything else is just as simple: enter the cheat code you need, then press X button again. That’s it! If the cheat code is entered correctly you should see the message: CHEAT CODE ENABLED.

You don’t want to waste your time re-entering the cheat code, do you? Then you can press * in your in-game phone – the latest cheat code will displayed again.

Invincibility is a required cheat, and to get that on the Xbox One you need to call 1-999-724-654-5537 on the smartphone or put in → A → ← → RB → ← A Y on your Xbox One gamepad. If you’re not quite ready for full-on God Mode, you could just boost your health and armor to maximum by ringing up 1-999-887-853 or dialing B LB Y RT A X B → X LB LB LB on the controller. If you find yourself really under the gun and need to get out quick, you can activate super speed at 1-999-228-8463 or Y ← → → LT LB X. There are a couple of other cheats in this genre, too, such as super jump and fast swim. Activating all of them will make you a beast to contend with on the streets. 

Weapon cheats for GTA 5 XBOX ONE

One of our favorite cheats is the one that gives you all the weapons that are available in the game. To get that, call up 1-999-8665-87 or use Y RT ← LB A → Y ↓ X LB LB LB on the controller. You can spice that up with the exploding ammo cheat so that every round you fire sets off fireworks. To get that, call up 1-999-444-439 (or use the following  sequence → X A ← RB RT ← → → LB LB LB on the Xbox One controller). If you need to take the skies immediately, you can summon a helicopter with 1-999-289-9633 or B B LB B B B LB LT RB Y B Y. After that self-driven insta-Uber has arrived, you can slow down time with 1-999-756-966 (Y ← → → X RT RB) or even give the Earth the same gravity levels as the moon’s surface with 1-999-356-2837 (← ← LB RB LB → ← LB ←). 

Another whimsical cheat that lets you shift up the environment around you is the weather-changing cheat using the phone number 1-999-625-348-7246 or RT A LB LB LT LT LT X.
