GTA Vice City Cheats

Though it came out a long time ago, GTA Vice City is one of the most iconic titles in the series. From the recreation of 1980s excess and neon to the pseudo-Miami known as Vice City, this game is an absolute must-play for any true fan of GTA or video games in general. But, like the other games, it isn’t always easy to play.

If you find you’re having a hard time, it might be time to turn to a cheat code. Don’t worry: Rockstar wants you to do this. That’s why they’ve programmed cheat codes directly into the game and made them known to the player upfront. In this article, we’ll talk about some of our favorite cheat codes for GTA Vice City to give you some idea of what they do should you want to try them out. Here are our favorite GTA Vice City cheats.

GTA Vice City PC Cheat Codes:

To enter GTA Vice City cheats on the PC version of the game, you need only type the phrases we tell you. Best of all is the fact that they’re not even case sensitive. There are three weapons sets you should know about, THUGSTOOLS, PROFESSIONALTOOLS, and NUTTERTOOLS. To get full health, type ASPIRINE or PRECIOUSPROTECTION for full armor.

You can increase your wanted level by 2 points with YOUWONTTAKEMEALIVE or you can lower it to nothing with LEAVEMEALONE. If you want to speed up the gameplay you can type ONSPEED or slow it down with BOOOOOORING. As the second one suggests, the game is pretty darn lame at that setting but it might be for some people. Not all of the cheats on the PC are serious. You can type COMEFLYWITHME to make all of the cars fly or WHEELSAREALLINEED to make every car invisible. The number of options in the cheat codes is pretty unlimited and it lets you tweak the gameplay to your tastes. 

As far as the PS3 and PS4 go, the weapons sets are R1, R2, L1, R2, ←, ↓, →, ↑, ←, ↓, →, ↑; R1, R2, L1, R2, ←, ↓, →, ↑, ←, ↓, ↓, ←; and R1, R2, L1, R2, ←, ↓, →, ↑, ←, ↓, ↓, ↓. We’d prefer to play on the PC if we had to be perfectly honest because entering in the codes is so much easier. That said, you can increase your wanted level with R1, R1, CIRCLE, R2, ←, →, ←, →, ←, → and decrease it with R1, R1, CIRCLE, R2, ↑, ↓, ↑, ↓, ↑, ↓. 

You get full health with R1, R2, L1, CIRCLE, ←, ↓, →, ↑, ←, ↓, →, ↑ and full armor using R1, R2, L1, X, ←, ↓, →, ↑, ←, ↓, →, ↑. If you want to make the game run faster, use TRIANGLE, ↑, →, ↓, L2, L1, Square on the controller. If you want it to slow down, use TRIANGLE, ↑, →, ↓, SQUARE, R2, R1.

There’s about as many codes for the PlayStation version of Vice City as there are for the PC version but not quite as many. Like we said, the PC version really gives you a lot of options when it comes to tweaking the in-game conditions.
