Misa’s Realistic Resource Pack 1.17 / 1.16 View 1,053,356

With its realistic, subtle approach, Misa’s Realistic resource pack — the first comprehensive, high-resolution texture pack ever made—sets the standard for future Minecraft packs. The pack was originally designed by Misa, but after he stopped updating it in 2014, it was reestablished/updated by lescard60, pscof42 and THBird who updated some textures for newer Minecraft versions. Now, Misa’s Realistic texture pack has been created and brings its resolution up to 64x, allowing for textures of a crisp, detailed quality never before seen. In combining a medieval RPG theme with a grounded aesthetic and high visual fidelity, the designers, hailed as craftsmen by appreciative fans, have revolutionized resource pack design. The texture pack makes great use of color, prioritizing earthy browns, grays and greens to achieve its realistic look.

For some, the effect may be an excess of darkness, even drabness; but for most the effect is astonishing, transforming Minecraft into a deeper, more atmospheric experience than you will find in the cartoonish Vanilla artstyle. Towns feel homely, while zombies and creepers feel frightening; but the overall effect is one of comfort, giving players a real sense of belonging in a more grounded Minecraft world. The aesthetic of the pack, then, is excellent. But where many resource packs fall down is their failure to blend their new visuals with Minecraft’s unique, blocky approach to character and object models. Misa’s pack avoids this rookie error, merging its realistic approach with Minecraft’s straight-edged style to produce something completely unique. Also impressive is the pack’s optimization. Despite its high resolution, Misa realistic resource pack makes little difference to performance on even low-spec machines—it’s as functional as it is fashionable, so there really is no reason not to give it a try! An enduring classic, this resource pack is a must-try for anyone looking to alter their Minecraft experience.

Misa’s Realistic should be compatible with all of these Minecraft versions: 1.17.1 1.17 1.16.5 1.16.4 1.16.3 1.16.2 1.16.1 1.16 1.8.9 1.8.8 1.8.1 1.8.6 1.8 1.7.10 1.7.9 1.7.4 1.7 1.6.4 1.6.2

Oh wow, welcome back you absolute legend!
Your pack has always been my favorite <3

So glad to see it’s being continued by the one and only Misa 😀

it’s so nice to have this texture pack back! It is lovely!!! There are a few missing textures though, i hope they are going to be updated.

Finaly, i waited so long for an updated version of this Texturepack. Its just the best thet i found.

A beautiful texture pack, I played with it for a few hours. Here’s my review:

Only about half the mobs are retextured, but the ones that are, are beautiful.
More dog textures, awesome, now I want to collect them all!
Zombie textures, scary, usually. Some of them are actually kind of goofy, and kill the vibe a little.
Better creeper camouflage, genius.
More skeleton textures, fun.
The spider variety is so beautiful, I can barely bring myself to fight them.
Endermen have orange eyes instead of purple? And no variety? A little weird, but fine I guess.
Leafs and trees are beautiful!
I love the toast themed hunger meter on the UI, it’s adorable.
The empty hearts on the health meter are a slightly darker red than the full ones, which is very bad, because in peripheral vision, it always looks full.
Some items, like boats, berry bushes, foxes, turtles, bells, campfires, and a lot of food, have the vanilla textures. They really stand out in an annoying way.
And some of the items jus look a little too photoshop cut and paste. The pixles are a bit more charming.

Its really cool! Nice, nostalhia! But… The destroyanimation is full filled with gray. Please fix it, its one of my favourites texture pack.

i tried it and the grass look like dead dry grass! 🙁

I have just been going through Resource packs to find one I really liked and can say this is the only one that fitted the bill.
Unfortunately it has a major bug in 1.16.5 which my friends server uses and thats the soul laterns are broken, and since my dark tower build has a lot of them I’ll use another.

nice

I’m joining the fan club. Back when I used to play this was the best pack in my opinion. Please update this!

update this is the only graphic mod i like lol

I love this pack, but mainly the dogs. The only problem is that the dogs, on my game, only have one skin. Is there a way to fix this? And if not, is there a texture pack with multiple releastic wolf skins?

Enable”Custom Textures” in Optifine, somewhere in the bottom right corner of the big visual settings screen.

This is bullshit, not even the grass is textured.

you need to install optifine

I Really like this texture pack, but on enchanted/magical items there is this sheen that flows from bottom to the top of the item. I really don’t like the sheen because it blocks the animations of the enchants. What file do I remove to disable this? Thank you!

It states that this is for “1.11” aswell as others but as of now I dont see a 1.11 download link, only previous versions

My minecraft 1.11 version states that this is incompatible. However, it is still working. Do we need to use the previous patches as well? Or is the new patch all we need?

I think you have to also download the 1.7 thing. Worked for me.

Is this the texture pack TheEnd004500 uses?

Does anyone know of a good shaderpack that works well with Misa? Been using Super Shaders v 5, and getting lots of shadow glitches, but it’s the best looking one I have found so far.

The best shader by far is Continuum, but that will only work if you have the absolute top of the line gpu. It is based off SEUS, but taken so much further.

I can download the patcher, but not the actual pack…
