Muted Speech and Pain 1.1

Short description
This simple mod mutes speech (including swearing) and pain sounds from pedestrians and your player. This is outside of missions, on the streets, when roaming. Only muting swearing would be nice but it’s not possible with a script. You would have to change game sound files with openIV.

When I made this mod I could not find any native functions which disables/mutes speech/dialog during cutscenes or missions.

This mod is included in my other mod, Family Friendly Free Roaming.

Installation
You need the lastest version of the tool Script Hook V by Alexander Blade in order for this mod to work.

Put MutedSpeechAndPain 1.x.asi and MutedSpeechAndPain.ini into your GTA5 folder where your GTA5.exe is located. Remove it again to remove the mods feature. Note that the mod is disabled when going online into multiplayer.

Download and install winrar and then right click on the .rar file and extract the .asi and .ini files. http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm (choose the one with x64)

Configuration
Open MutedSpeechAndPain.ini with notepad and edit. Values are set/updated directly. The file looks like this:
(1 means on, 0 means off)

pain_sounds=0
speech_sounds=0

[Pedestrian_Sounds]
pain_sounds=0
speech_sounds=0
