Modding is not easy, more so the modding of GTA 5. It’s not like the game was made with modding in mind and there is no easy package import that will neatly tie everything in a bow for you.

This article is not going to focus on how to mod your game as there are plenty of instructions on how to do that already. Instead, we will focus on mods by the modder JulioNIB which made us come back to Grand Theft Auto time and time again and we are sure they’ll have the same effect on you. So without further ado, let’s get into the list.

The GTA 5 Superman mod turns Trevor into the Man of Steel. He has the iconic blue and red costume and lone curl of hair. It's not perfect - his legs are skinnier than you'd expect and his face is an ugly mix of the game's three protagonists - but this is clearly Kal-El.

"This is the best i can do by changing existing 3d models and editing textures only!" said the creator of the mod. "Once we have the ability to edit and add 3d models I will be able to make a better one."

GTA 5 Superman is able to shrug off bullets. He can also punt cars, much like characters using the super-strength mod we previously told you about. His attacks on humans aren't quite so explosive, though.

Thanks to a separate mod, he can fly as well. The flying animation's a bit awkward; he basically just leaps high into the air and skydives down. Also, he's not great at landing. Right now, he just runs face-first into the ground and rolls to a stop. Perhaps someone will clean up his technique with a later mod.

In the years since GTA 4's release, the modding community has added several superheroes to that game. Players can become Iron Man, Hulk and more. DC favorites Superman and Batman were playable thanks to mods as well:
