Ubisoft Has A High Possibility To Attend E3 2023 In Los Angeles
E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo or Electronic Entertainment Experience) is a major event of the video game industry in the United States. It was first held in 1995 and has gained recognition and legacy after the last few decades with the attendants of several developers, publishers, hardware, and accessory manufacturers. Recently, Ubisoft has confirmed during its Q3 earnings conference call its presence at the event, “if it happens”.

The last E3 took place in 2021 during the pandemic. After two years, it is returning to Los Angeles on June 13, 2023. E3 2021 was actually a virtual online event without physical activities and attendees. Also, the scheduled events in 2020 and 2022 were also canceled due to the lockdown policy during the Covid19 pandemic. Therefore, it is highly anticipated because it will be the first in-person event ever since 2019. Ubisoft stated that it was also excited for the event. Apparently, the company is planning for several upcoming game titles including Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, and more. The game list of this company consists of some of the most popular games globally such as Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, The Division 2, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction…
Unlike Ubisoft, other big companies do not seem to join the event this summer. These are Nintendo, Sony, and Xbox which are among the biggest game makers in the world. Reportedly, Nintendo does plan to release a good amount of new games this year. Therefore, the founder of Super Mario is not coming to the event. Xbox, on the other hand, is going to run its own showcast in L.A this summer. This is also a similar situation to Sony PlayStation which is holding its own showcast later this year.

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot confirmed the attendance of the company after ESA’s official announcement of E3 2023. Fans are excited to be informed with several updates on released and unreleased games which are Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and a Splinter Cell remake. Its live-service games are also expected to be introduced and launched after the event. Previously, the company had also canceled several unfinished projects in an attempt to cut costs. Seemingly, the economic status of Ubisoft does not seem to be great as a result of the horrible pandemic which affects everyone in every country in the world. Then, we might only hope for more updates and games in the future. For more updated news, check out this website daily.
